Deel 1 / Part 1 : interludium / interlude.
Especially Swami people have a bond with nature. Ulla Pirttijärvi's latest CD "In our Foremother's Arms" has modern arranged songs. Especially "storm is comming" has an ability to express this bond in words and sound,still somewhat in a modern reflection. Wimme is the most know male yoik singer that added modern arrangements in his music. I only have "Gierran". From that CD I took "Samil / the importance of Moss" Also Gjallarhorn has elements from Sjamanism with modern sounds. Värtttinä has some songs with aspects comming from of the psychology and experiences from small vilages. I choose "Äijo".
Secondly Earth Music should interest Pagan and Wicca people too. Bound to the earth and not to the mind this music is realistic in its foundations with nature. I choose one mystic track from Atman to start the evening.
Swami mensen (vaak Laplanders genoemd) hebben een duidelijke band met de natuur.
Ulla Pirttijärvi's laatste CD "In our Foremother's Arms" bevat moderne gerarrangeerde meestal zelfgeschreven songs. Vooral "storm is comming" drukt moderne arrangementen uit met de sterke oude en magisch klinkende Finse taal in combinatie met yoiks en haar natuurassociaties. Wimme is de meest bekende mannelijke yoik zanger, die eveneens moderne arrangementen toevoegt / toelaat. Ik heb alleen "Gierran". Van deze CD koos ik "Samil / the importance of Moss" Ook Gjallarhorn heeft sjamanistische elementen in een modern kleedje. Ook Värtttinä (eveneens uit Finland) beschrijft met interessante diepgang dorpspsychologie, vrouwenbewustzijn verbonden met magie en de natuur. Van deze groep koos ik "Äijo".
