"It was not easy to organise a tour with music like from the Iditarod. The music was too strange for the mainstream folk circuit and too folky for the experimental circuit.  All promotion was done by the groups themselves mostly.  The first Poor Minstrels tour took place in New England, USA in April 2001 and included Stone Breath, the Iditarod, In Gowan Ring and Drekka. 

Poor Minstrels II was scheduled for February and March of 2002 in Northern Europe; performing were Ring, the Iditarod, Drekka and Peter Scion."
