A few soundfiles of Pearls Before Swine :
From PEARLS BEFORE SWINE Jewels Were The Stars :
"Footnote", "Sail Away", "Look Into Her Eyes"
From Wizard of Iz" : track 1, "Sail Away"

Also reissued lately : the 3rd,4th,5th,6th LP from Pearls Before Swine, (as "Jewels were the stars") with very interesing booklet. Limited ! A must have for all psych folk pop collectioners and seekers for fragile and poetic beauty. I think best starter are Balaklava or the compilation album Constructive Melancholy.
The latest tribute double CD is reviewed at next page.

Also recently reissued with bonus tras and new cover : The Sallyangie : Children of the Sun (UK,1968)
(I have only the old reissue which you can see here:****), a psych folk gem with  Sally Oldfield and her very young brother Mike Oldflield. The extra tracks on CD 2 are all right but no must have to buy this release a second time. I don't have a cover for the reisue.

Red Fox Rec. Ton Vlasman (NL,1970, re 2002)****

Recently reissued this Dutch psych folk item. Two songs sound like a Bob Dylan a like. I would not have bought this gem for such tracks. But there are also two wonderful long raga like / finger picking instrumental tracks. The first one is accompanied by organ and sounds like an acoustic Pink Floyd, but reminds at the German 'Dom' LP too from that same year. The other instrumental is accompanied by flute in stead. The left over song is again psych folk with flute. An early Velvet Underground song we have here listed too. The reissue is a welcome surprise.
